My name is Rochelle Boyce and I am the lead nurse at the Birth Center of NWA. I graduated from Northwest Arkansas Community College in 2012 and later completed my bachelor’s degree in nursing through Chamberlain College of Nursing. I was fortunate enough to get to witness a natural birth when I was only 18 and it set me on the course towards where I am today. After 7 years of working as a birth doula in various birth settings and almost 2 years as an assistant to a home birth midwife, the birth center has been the perfect fit for combining my nursing skill set & my passion for the midwifery model of care. When I’m not working, you can find me and my amazing border collie out exploring Northwest Arkansas’ best hiking trails, cycling the Razorback Greenway, kayaking, or running a half marathon. After a decade of attending births in a variety of roles, I still feel so privileged to be able to consistently bare witness and give support through such a life-changing journey.
